Happy October!
As of today, you have 92 days left in this year, and I want to pop in and give you some encouragement.
If you find yourself looking toward the holiday season wondering how you’ll get it all done – I see you.
If you are looking back at the goals you wanted to achieve this year, but haven’t – I see you.
If you’ve had and alright year, but just want to feel more joy – I see you.
If your year has been a total sh*t show – I see you.
I see you, and I’m also going to tell you … the year isn’t over yet.
You can set holiday boundaries so you can enjoy yourself this year.
You can decide what goals matter to you now and take some first steps toward them.
You can work on experiencing joy – or any other feeling you want to experience.
You can decompress from the sh*t show and step into something better.
To start, I want to give the same 6 questions I give to my clients:
- How do I want to feel when this year ends?
- Where do I want to feel this (i.e., in all areas of life, in my job, in my relationship, within myself, etc.)
- Why is feeling this way important to me?
- What thoughts do I need to have to help me feel this way?
- What actions can I take to help me feel this way?
- What positive changes might happen in my life if I focus on this?
When you tap into this, you’ll start to see plan for the rest of the year coming to light. This plan isn’t rooted in hustle or over-achievement. It’s simply you deciding how you want to feel and exploring what you can do to feel that way.
Doesn’t that feel good?
